Welcome to the home of the Castle Country Riders of the California Gymkhana Association, District 27.
We are a gymkhana club that runs Rain or Shine at the
Howard Park Covered Arena in Ione, California.

Attention Gymkhana Enthusiasts-
Saturday, March 13th is our annual March Madness Gymkhana-Sponsored by Painted Pony Tack (They will be on site with their mobile showroom and they have got everything you need...).
Snack Bar will be open, serving breakfast and lunch fare and it is always GOOD! Mark your calendars and we will see you there!
Sign ups for the District 27 season end awards will cut off March 13th so if you haven't already done so you can sign up at this show. We give out great awards so don't miss out...sign up!
Thank You to GIST silversmiths for the beautiful buckles for our annual Castle Country Challenge. Also given were super nice ribbons, custom leather engraved prizes-saddle blankets, halters and leads, leather tie downs in all divisions. If you were one of the deserving winners, CONGRATULATIONS. Arena Location
Howard Park, 1560 State Hwy 124, Ione, CA 95640
Overall Size - 200ft x 250ft. Within the movable panels - 165ft x 250ft.
Lighting - 800 amps in addition to solar panels for total illumination with no dark areas.
Seating - Bleachers for 400 and standing for several thousand.
Restrooms available on premises in addition to water for animal use.
Parking available for both spectators and participants.
Arena is surrounded by over 90 acres of a beautiful park setting with an historic race track and picnic amenities.
